Gracias for a wonderful #mexpopgen3

We are very thrilled to say that #mexpopgen3 was a huge success! This was only possible to all of you who attended the meeting, shared your work, exchanged ideas with colleagues, discussed potential future collaborations, and engaged in this networking event with much enthusiasm. BIG THANK YOU!

We were fortunate to have a great program and a fully booked event with participants from all over Mexico, from Morelia to Mérida, and even participants who came all the way from California, Denmark, Switzerland and Sweden. Thanks also to all participants from the press and industry who joined us at LANGEBIO.

We owe a special thanks to Biotech del Norte and SICES Guanajuato for their kind support, which allowed us to cover lunch, coffee breaks, beers, as well as transportation and accommodation for some speakers. This was also possible thanks to the great organizational work by the outreach office at LANGEBIO, led by Karla Sandoval, and by the volunteer work of students and postdocs from the Moreno Lab.

We are already looking forward to an even better #mexpopgen4 in 2019; we are aware that the bar was set too high this year,  hence we would welcome any feedback and comments to improve. While we are still defining the next venue, we welcome all suggestions and any person interested in being part of the organizing committee is more than welcome to take part in this rewarding experience of organizing such a wonderful get-togheter.

We wish you the most successful 2018 and look forward to seeing you all next year at #mexpopgen4!!
